New Patients

How do I schedule an appointment for Physical Therapy?

You may call us, or your physician’s office may call us at 717 270-60PT (6078).  David has a Direct Access license, which means we can see some patients without a RX for 30 days.  (Some insurances require a RX or referral.)  If you have an HMO, a referral from your Primary Care Doctor is probably needed.  Evaluations are done at specific times of the day, but we have evening hours Monday Wednesday and Friday for your other appointments if needed.

Will insurance cover Physical Therapy treatments?

We accept most major insurance plans including Highmark, CBC, BCBS, Health America, Aetna, Medicare and Medicare Replacements,  Worker's Comp and Auto carriers.  Call for specific insurance plan coverage, we make an effort to educate you on your benefits and any patient responsibility.  We also have Self Pay rates for those who do not have any health insurance.

The First Visit.

The Initial Evaluation may last 1-1½ hours. You should plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early.  We normally mail the paperwork, but you can also use the link below.

The physical assessment will be done by a licensed physical therapist to determine the physical therapy diagnosis so that a proper treatment plan can be formulated to meet your goals for rehabilitation.  You will also get a home exercise program to supplement the PT we do at the office.

You will want to bring the following:
